ffhs -- Federation of Family History Societies Publications

FFHS is an international organisation, established in 1974 in the UK as a non-profit making charitable company. It represents, advises and supports over 210 family history societies and other genealogical organisations world-wide, with a combined Membership of over 300,000 As part of its charitable remit the Federation offers genealogy and family history books and publications to enable family historians to research their ancestors and the way they lived. As someone who has previously expressed an interest in Family or Local History, the Federation of Family History Societies has put together this mailing list to keep you informed of new Federation Titles and special offers of interest to Family and Local Historians. We hope that you will enjoy being informed and up to date with the latest research material.

Subscribing to ffhs

Subscribe to ffhs by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. (Note that this is an umbrella list, intended to have only other mailing lists as members. Among other things, this means that your confirmation request will be sent to the `-owner' account for your address.) Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
