There are no contradictions / lies in this matter. AFAIK there
are no plans for introducing tracking this parliament. However,
just recently, I heard Ruth Kelly say that there was all party consensus
to examine the potential of tracking for future consideration. The growth
of vehicle use and the need to control emissions makes its own case.
Perhaps a move to phase out  oil based power might be more acceptable ?

You are complaining of Government now but imagine if everyone took your
advice and didn't vote ? At least by voting it maintains the checks and 
balances
required to keep the budding Hitlers at bay. Margaret Thatcher was a pussy
compared to some of the characters I have noticed in Portcullis House.
