[LU] LU: Playoffs and tickets

I think we're much more likely to receive an allocation of 38-41000
depending on the press allocation and the number of debentures that have
resold. A better comparison is the Carling Cup allocation plus some.

The FA Cup allocation includes all debentures and a huge amount of FA
lackies that get tickets, not applicable in this case.

Last time we all phoned up (ST holders) and got tickets relatively easily,
for the semis (home and away) and the final. Unless we face Forest, we (2
of us) won't even bother to apply for tickets as no one else has a big
enough ground to make it worth entering the raffle. Last time we went to
PNE and were attacked on Preston station waiting for the train to our hotel.

There were an ***awful*** lot being touted on the days last year (even PNE
away). Feedback from FA Cup Semis this year is that you have to be more
careful about where you pick up Wembley tickets as Wembley way is very well
policed these days but there a few pubs where tickets should be easy to come
by.

I would suggest, if you can afford the cash for the $xxx plane ticket you
can probably afford the £xxx for the play-off ticket if you can't get one in
advance. Just do some research about where you go to obtain your ticket
first...

Good luck.

Cheers,

All members who joined before March 31st plus all ST holders are guaranteed
one each - that is a total of 25+K.
We have just opened an overseas members club - cost £20 and the first 1000
to join are also guaranteed a Play off final ticket - the details are on
Official website

We are likley to get 33,000 same as FA semi final

If we get to the playoff final does anyone know how tickets are handled? For
those who have been to previous play-off finals (disaster against Watford
for example) do they sell tickets on the day? If we do make it am thinking
of a quick trip back from US to go to the game.

Thanks

Nick
