Millwall 0 Leeds United 2: Prutton and Hughes on target for Whites

Leeds United were being held 0-0 after the first half at the Den against
Millwall as they looked to reap another three points towards their
League One promotion target.

United manager Gary McAllister made three changes from the side which
lost to Huddersfield in midweek.

Alan Sheehan returned from suspension in place of Darren Kenton, Anthony
Elding stepped in up front for Tresor Kandol, and David Prutton returned
to the side in place of the suspended Jonathan Douglas.

Millwall had several chances to take the lead, but Ali Fuseini and Ahmet
Brkovic spurned their opportunities, while at the other end Dougie
Freedman set-up Anthony Elding but he fired wide while Jonny Howson's
header was held by goalkeeper Rhys Evans.

But United took the lead on 71 minutes, Prutton's 25-yard shot taking a
deflection on its way to goal, before Andy Hughes doubled their
advantage eight minutes later.
