Swansea vice-captain Alan Twate today hit out at a near neighbour  
after his club were told they will not lift the League One trophy this  
weekend.

The Football League informed Swansea there will be no presentation  
after their final home game of the season against Leyton Orient on  
Saturday because of the ongoing shambolic situation created by them  
regarding Leeds United.
It has left the Swans wondering whether they have won the  
championship, despite the fact that they prematurely celebrated doing  
so last weekend.

Twate lays the blame for such a ludicrous position on a man who lives  
three doors down from him.

"As far as we're concerned, we're in the Champions League," he ranted.

"We haven't broken any rules. We haven't gone into administration and  
tried to get the points taken away when we knew it wouldn't matter.  
But Leeds are trying to get the points back after they were shafted by  
the FL and we can't do anything about that.

"It's a surprise to me that you should ask me anything about this, and  
it's ridiculous that it's still going on when it should have been put  
to someone who understands what's going on.

"They should have been given the fine and told that was that, but they  
probably thought 'Hang on, we're being shafted by the FL here, do we  
let them get away with it?'. They're the same big club they were a few  
years ago. They are a big club, but they need to realise they are in  
League One and all the other parasite club owners need the gatemoney  
they generate.

"It's embarrassing that I've been allowed  to talk about something  
that's too difficult for me to grasp the basics of. If I was a Leeds  
fan I'd understand a little bit more about it.
