I sure was Guy - in fact I was a Supervisor of the stewards in one area
of the ground - but sadly mate, things have changed and where the
stewards team was once filled with genuine fans when I worked for them,
it is now just people looking for a little sideline income mostly, they
don't care about the team and the club or they wouldn't spend so much
time being jobsworth twats! - you now have to pass NVQ's and all sorts
of Health and Safety nonsense before you can stare at the crowd (woe
betide anyone who turns around and looks at the game). So apart form
appreciating the suggestion, it's a non starter I'm afraid Guy.
