If they had not put their name to the clause, the club was facing 
liquidation and then Astor, Yorkshire radio etc etc etc would have er 
got nowt.  This is made quite clear in the "Award" and it is something 
that a solicitor like mark Taylor understood only too well.

Bates thought he had the FL over a barrel.  In fact they had him trussed 
up inside the barrel with 24 hungry ferrets with the barrel perched on 
the edge of Flamborough Nut!

As I have said elsewhere the whole of the tribunal's findings have to be 
read and understood in their entirety to make any sense of this 
judgement.  Simle prejudice does not come into it.  The tribunal didn't 
sit for a laugh and I think now we must live with the consequences,.

Now just what was the name of the Guillemot's last single?????????????
