[LU] The FA ...

Tim and others, the FA are well aware of the age profile of their current
National and County Council members as well as those at District level. I
understand that from next season any new representative from Districts must
be under the age of 60 (yes, yes I know, but it is a start!). Existing
representatives will continue to be supported however with increasing
numbers receiving life membership (20 years service), retiring or just plain
popping their clogs, there should be a full turnover pretty quickly.

Personally as a District Council member (Heavy Woollen) I intend to take
full advantage of the situation and hope to be on the County FA Council
within 18 months.

All fair points chaps, but you're missing the crux of the matter. Our
beloved game is (mis)run and is being ruined in front of our very eyes by,
as Will Carling rightly once said, The Old Farts Brigade. The FA and the FL
are a complete shower of shite and should all be put against a wall and
shot.
