Brought back some memories there Steve:
Try these:
Kaghan Valley and their plate-sized onion bhajis:the Crystal Palace, (a very hard Teds pub, not of the Heaton variety), 2 shami kebabs and onions in a brown bag from the Islamabad (guaranteed dogsh*t breath the next morning); opening of Sheesh Mahal (still best curry house in Leeds); going into Nags Head pre-match to listen to all the old winos/tramps tell you their life story (every week); meeting at the Fatman; Lewis's; Terry's All Time Cafe; we are the champions/champions of europe done in the Kop, split down the middle; taking on the NF at Elland Rd; dreams of brickman; that Scottish wino who used to call Ingerlish bast**ds (anyone else remember him?); The Whip; in fact, pubs; when you could cross City Square without 18 pedestrian crossings; when Park Row was one way; Warehouse opening; Cinderella's Rockafellas; the church behind the Merrion Centre they demolished (with the balcony); Queens Hall; Futurama; milk train to Harrogate at 4:10am.
God I could eat those shamis now!!!

Just got sent this - I think this might stir some memories (as opposed
to mammaries in yesterday's thread) for some of the older listers and
the expat folks
